OVERVIEW In 2014, Saint-Gobain Proppants needed to establish their business as the industry’s expert and top innovator in everything related to ceramic proppants for the oil and gas industry. Their outdated, non-mobile-friendly website was in need of a design and functionality overhaul, as well as a content update. Trusting my previously proven knowledge of the brand, product offering and audience, their marketing team requested that I redesign their website. Aside from the obvious creative challenges to modernize the site and bring relevance to the product for younger buyers via honed brand messaging, I completed an inventory of current assets and crafted a content strategy that would better position them as experts in their industry.
